COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid is an exfoliating serum. The formula contains 4% betaine salicylate, a natural exfoliator derived from plants. It helps to loosen impurities and debris from the pores and remove dead skin cells. It also contains hyaluronic acid, willow bark extract and niacinamide to hydrate and brighten the skin.

BHAs are oil-soluble. They not only work on the surface of the skin, but also penetrate deep to open pores and treat blemishes. This is why BHAs are preferred by people with normal to oily and congested skin. BHAs have natural skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and can therefore be beneficial for people prone to redness and rosacea.

How to Use It : 

1. Pour the power liquid onto a cotton pad and apply a thin layer of the liquid to cleansed skin, concentrating on congested areas (such as the T-zone and chin). It is best to use it at night, as exfoliating can make the skin particularly sensitive to sunlight.
2. Pat it into the skin until it is completely absorbed.
3. Start by using the scrub only once a week. Once your skin gets used to the scrub, you can increase the use to 2-3 times a week to reduce the visibility of pores and treat blemishes.
4. We recommend using sunscreen daily when using chemical peels.
5. People who use aspirin react badly to the BHA in this product (betaine salicylate). Do not use this product if you have an aspirin allergy.
